Summer School of the Croatian Language and Culture 2018

The Rijeka School of Croatian Studies organizes Summer School of the Croatian Language and Culture at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka. The lectures are held daily from Monday to Saturday and they are accompanied by workshops and additional activities related to Croatian culture.
Classes are organised in three levels according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages:
- Basic user (A1, A2)
- Independent user (B1, B2)
- Proficient user (C1)
Lectures are held in the morning and early afternoon. They include 4 hours of language exercises per day and 2 hours of lectures/workshops on Croatian culture, which is a total of 80 hours.
On the first day of the Summer School participants take the placement test. After that, they are divided into groups (classroom 702, 7th floor).
At the end of the Summer School participants take the final exam and obtain a certificate. The attendees, having successfully completed the course, are awarded 4 ECTS-credit points.
The deadline for the applications is June 17, 2018.
The tuition fee is 2.500,00 kuna. It covers all lectures, teaching materials, workshops and a tour around the city accompanied by a tourist guide.
