Rijeka Croatist School

The Rijeka Croatist School promotes the Croatian language, literature and culture internationally, develops modern methods of teaching Croatian as a second or a foreign language, promotes mobility and organises testing of knowledge of Croatian as a second or a foreign language. Our goals also include development and creation of standardised testing and teaching materials, organisation of conferences for scientists and experts, and setting up of expert, translation and teaching projects that promote the Croatian language, literature and culture abroad. The School co-operates with other national and foreign institutions that have the same goals, with the Croatian language instructors in universities and scientific institutions abroad, and with scientists in Croatia and abroad, and it is also establishing connections with Croatian emigrants.
