Centre for Teacher Education

Centre for Teacher Education organises educational programmes for acquiring teaching competences at the undergraduate and graduate level of teacher education, as well as lifelong learning programmes at all levels of education. The Centre's main activities are:

1. planning, organising and conducting courses for acquiring teaching competences, as prescribed by the Teaching Module at the University of Rijeka
2. planning, organising and conducting the Supplementary teacher education programme (DPPO);
3. planning, organising and conducting specialist study programmes for teachers at all levels of education;
4. planning, organising and conducting short lifelong learning courses
5. organising testing of specific competences (language skills, computer skills and other)
6. organising seminars, workshops, round tables, panels, lectures and summer schools
7. launching domestic and international projects in the field of teacher education and lifelong learning.
